You, the listener, imagine yourself on the station platform anticipating the arrival of the space-faring steam locomotive. Looking up into the cold starry night you glimpse the train sliding down and into the platform shed, steaming noisily to a halt before you. After boarding, you depart and take off. Upon achieving an extraterrestrial trajectory, eventually you enter Jupiter's magnetosphere and thence hurtle into its atmospheric realm of stupendous clouds. Leaving Jupiter, you vault through the volcanic plumes of Jupiter's moon Io and experience the vertigo of deep space. You approach and then experience the windy realms of that other giant blue planet Neptune, all the while longing for our blue worldlet, Earth. Dreaming of Earth's tropical paradise you are awakened by the trains whistle as it fearlessly climbs into the deep, dark realm of the twin planets Pluto and Charon at the edge of the Kuiper Belt. Sitting safely in your coach you are mesmerized by the black gossamer planetoids wheeling before you. You imagine sirens of the deepness of space singing. Finally, you thread through comets and asteroids en route out of the Solar System, your train disappearing into the fathomless void.
